My name is Lio Laenen, an audiovisual graduate specializing in light and video. Since my youth, I have been fascinated by music, different cultures and looking at things in a different way.
I received my education at RITCS school of arts, where I honed my skills and developed my passion for the technical side of the event industry. I strive to create a dialogue through my work
My creative process often begins with sketching, photography, experimenting with materials. I primarily work with reflective materials, and I always try to explore new techniques to bring my vision to life.
I have had the honor of discovering the world and seeing 3 different continents during my studies. One of my most memorable projects was my exchange to Lebanon and following classes at USJ film departement in Beirut.
Everyday I am grateful for the freedom I received in finding my passion and the support for taking every chance that shaped my future.
